Now Redmi has finally announced the launch date of its upcoming Redmi Note 12 5G series in India, So the Redmi Note 12 5G series will be unveiled on January 5 India! Well, there are still a few weeks left for the official launch. Redmi Note 12 5G Specifications
This is the vanilla variant of the series, It features a 6.67-inch Samsung GOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and FullHD+ resolution. The regular 12 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset and up to 6GB RAM & up to 256GB of storage. It will run on Miui 13 based on Android 12 out of the box. The vanilla 12 features a dual rear camera setup which includes a 48MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. There’s an 8MP front-facing camera in a punch-hole cutout. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Dual bands WiFi, 5G, GPS, and USB Type-C port. There’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. The Redmi Note 12 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging support. Now onto the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G & the 12 Pro+ 5G.
Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G & 12 Pro+ 5G Specifications
Well, both the Redmi Note 12 share almost similar specifications, though the main difference between the two siblings lies in the cameras. So, both the 12 Pro 5G & 12 Pro+ feature a 6.67-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and FullHD+ resolution, HDR10+, 240hz touch sampling rate, Dolby Vision support and upto 900nits peak brightness. Also, it’s a 10-bit display. Both the Note 12 series phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset paired with Mali G-88 GPU. The Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G comes in 6/8/12GB RAM & 128/256GB storage while the Redmi 12 Pro+ 5G comes in 8/12GB RAM & 256GB storage. Both phones run on MIUI 13 based on Android 12. Now, as I mentioned above, this is what separates the Redmi 12 Pro+ from the 12 Pro 5G. Well, both phones feature triple rear cameras at the back. However, the 12 Pro+ has a 200MP Samsung HPX primary sensor with OIS, 7P lens, ALD coating and f/1.7 aperture, and on the other hand, Redmi 12 Pro has a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with OIS & f/1.88 aperture. The two other remaining cameras are exactly the same in both the phones i.e. an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with 119˚ FOV and a 2MP macro sensor. As for the front, there’s a 16MP for selfies and Video calls on the 12 Pro+ 5G and an 8MP on the 12 Pro 5G. Connectivity option includes – NFC, GPS, 5G, Dual-band WiFi, and Bluetooth. There’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The Redmi Note 12 5G & 12 Pro+ 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery though the 12 Pro supports 120W fast wired charging, whereas the 12 Pro 5G is capped at 67W fast wired charging Finally, the Redmi Note 12 5G starts at ¥1,999 (13.5K), the 12 Pro 5G starts at ¥1.699 (19.5k), and the 12 Pro+ 5G at ¥2,199.
